Durham Advertiser 4/6/1926 Off to Australia. Mr and Mrs John Gregory, of Bearpark with their little son and daughter, left Durham on Friday night en route for Australia. They were given an enthusiastic send-off, over a hundred people assembling at the railway station to bid them farewell. Mrs Gregory, who was formerly Miss Kingston, was a highly esteemed member of the Bearpark Women's Institute.
