Denwick Chapel.

Church

In one village is a schoolroom, which has had a small chancel lately added to it, shut off during school hours, and thrown open for divine service, which is now held every Sunday: it is licenced by the Bishop of Durham, and is served by the clergy of the parish church of Alnwick. [Kelly's Directory of Northumberland and Durham (1873), page 488.]
