Thropton St Andrew.

Church

St. Andrew's, Thropton, in the parish of Rothbury, was built by public subscription in 1902 on land donated by Lord Armstrong of Cragside and dedicated for public worship. Its rough-cast white-washed walls are prominent as your leave the village on the Cartington Road. The pews were brought from St Barnabas, Thorneyford, Kirkley, in the parish of Ponteland.
