Illustrated London News 25/10/1873 The Langton Estate in the parish of Kirknewton, Northumberland, containing altogether 956 acres was offered, last week, at the Auction Mart, by Messrs. Beadal, and sold to the representative of the Earl of Durham for £63,000.
