Church

The church of the Holy Saviour is a stone structure, with a square tower, spire, and one bell, and stands a short distance from the town. The living is a vicarage, yearly value £300, in the gift of the Duke of Northumberland, and held by the Rev. Thomas Featherstone, of St. Aidan's.
